In his junior year at Deer Creek High School in Arcola, Mississippi it is amazing to see what Philip Fontenot has learned and achieved over the past three seasons. Recognized for incredible advancements as defensive end and outside linebacker, the wonderful athleticism and agility week in and week out have been able to stop the opposing offense from breaking into the Deer Creek zone.
Even feet from the endzone there is no blocker that can keep Philip from breaking the play. Looking at a young man with such strength and power, overcoming every offense he comes up against, it will be exciting to see everything yet to come from a defensive leader to prepared to head up his team to the top of the line.
With much left to be learned during Philip’s senior year, I know that we here at The Playbook will have much to tell about his gains in the 2018 recruiting class. There will certainly be main schools looking forward to Philip Fontenot’s skills for their roster during his college years.
