WHY I GRIND
My goal is to demonstrate my toughness and intellectual ability on the football field and in the classroom at a college that will challenge and prepare me for the future. The foundation for playing football was inspired by participating in Krav Maga, the Israeli self-defense martial arts when I was in eighth grade. It was the toughest, most physical and mental training I had ever experienced.
When I became a freshman in high school, my parents let me begin playing for the JV team. I started every game and I found the passion in sports I had never experienced in prior athletic programs. Each year I have improved, both physically and mentally, in learning the game by playing both offense, defense, and special teams. I want to continue playing in college at the highest athletic and academic levels my ability will allow.
The coaching staff will find I’m a good candidate for their team because my father raised me “old school”. He taught me to handle different coaching styles and always work hard to become the very best at my position. I will work to exceed the expectations of the coaching staff and help my teammates anyway possible.
What makes me different from other recruits is my leadership and maturity in doing what is necessary to be the best person on the field and off. I have been a very good student and test well. My career interests are focused on Architecture; Business, specifically Entrepreneurial Studies; Art and Design; and Hospitality Management.
