  • WHY I GRIND

    My goal in the classroom is to finish high school with a weighted GPA of a 4.0 or higher. My education is important to me as it will prepare me for my future. I also want to show coaches I can excel at not only football, but in the classroom as well. In college, I plan to major in Economics or Political Science while playing football in a D-1 program.

    Football is my passion! I started playing tackle when I was just 8 years old and haven’t taken a season off since. Always on the line, I started snapping by age 9. Just as most young players, I had dreams of becoming a TE, but embraced the O-line by the time I was 12. Over the years my dedication and constant bouncing back on the field has shown coaches why I’m here and it’s because I love this sport. These characteristics have allowed me to excel at football while playing for my youth league, FBU Central Florida 7th & 8th Grade All-Star teams and now for Viera High School playing Varsity since my Freshman year.

    Lettering my Freshman year on the Varsity team, playing as a sophomore, and starting my junior year has put me on the path to be a 4-year Varsity Letterman. My goals for the 2018 season are to become a team captain as the starting right tackle. These past three seasons my coaches have put me all over the offensive line. I’ve played center and both tackle positions during these past three seasons at Viera. Another goal this season is to be named Cape Coast Conference Lineman and have a successful season my senior year.

    I am proud to be a part of the nationally ranked Viera High School Football program. This past season, we played in the regional semifinal, as well my sophomore year we played deep into the playoffs making it to the Regional Finals after playing in the State Finals in 2015. This will push me through the off-season and prepare me for next season. This experience has been an amazing ride for me and it has only just begun.
