Dwight Johnson, former NFL Defensive End for the New York Giants, paid a visit to Georgia Prep Sports Academy. He delivered a life changing speech to the student-athletes. The Baylor University Graduate spoke about perception, overcoming adversity, staying motivated and other important game-related topics. Even though he spoke regarding football, he educated students about issues that occur when they’re off the turf. GPSA Head Football Coach, Michael Carson, was especially appreciative of the message Johnson delivered. Carson says, “It’s always refreshing to have a man of that caliber come speak to the students.” After Johnson’s speech, students gained a positive outlook on life and better attitudes.
