When fall hits, football fans get excited and anxious to see what their favorite teams will pull off on the field. If we, the fans are anxious, imagine how the players feel. Defensive Back Avyonne Jones knows all too well that feeling of excitement. “I’m just excited to put the pads back on with my brothers,” he says. “I’m also looking forward to this being my last year of Jr. High.” Avyonne says he is definitely ready for high school. He’s ready to compete on that stage and be the next great Carroll Dragon recruit. He wants to follow in the footsteps of his older brother Adaryan Jones as well as Kenny Hill, Jr., Obi Eboh, Robert Barnes, and RJ Mickens.
