WHY I GRIND

I am not the kind of person who is into the flashy aspects of anything. I was always taught to learn the basics, master them, to execute them, and to compete with them highly in any and everything. My passion in life is to work hard enough to where my instructor or person in authority doesn’t have to worry about my performance. In this part of life when trying to get into a competitive school, I refuse to get comfortable or satisfied, and I vow to grind at all costs to get where I want to be.

In my life I’ve had some terrific ups and some horrible downs, but I was raised to fight through the adversity because it shows who you truly are. Adversity is the number one reason why I can claim that my attitude toward life is to go get it because no one is going to hand it to you. I believe that I can only get better than where I am at this moment but I am proud to be who and where I am. I haven’t had the typical high school experience, but I strive to appreciate every second because you will never get it back. Each day is an opportunity to be productive and not a day to waste, therefore when it’s going good for me I can always make it better.
