Thailand Baldwin: Big Love for the Game

Rewind Thailand Baldwin

“What I lack in size I make up for it with my effort and by being coachable.” No truer words have ever  been spoken by an athlete. He’s a 3x NUC All American and a 2x Diamond All American, and guess what….He has yet to step foot on a field as a high school athlete. Thailand Baldwin, a 2020 DB/WR from Hampton, Virginia wastes no time and gives it his all when he’s competing. This hard-working young athlete, both on and off of the field, considers himself a student of the game and is always working to be a better player and teammate.

We caught up with Thailand and asked him what he is most excited about when it comes to playing high school football. “I’m most excited about playing against new competition,” he stated. That excitement is seen in his summer work efforts to ready himself for “Friday Night Lights”. In addition to his position specific training, lifting weights and working with teammates on becoming a better team player, Thailand has attended several camps such as NC State satellite camp, VTO Camp (Top 5 DBs), The Show, NextGen and Sound Mind Sound Body. He was also recently invited to the FBU Top Gun Showcase to be held in Rock Hill, SC July 18-20, 2016. With work ethic like this, he’s sure to excel in his high school career. Continue to follow Thailand’s grind  by keeping an eye on his Scout Card with Play Book Athlete.
