Play Book Athlete: My First Football Scholarship Offer

MY FIRST OFFER

Throughout life, you’ll experience several significant “first time” occasions.  Whether it’s the “first practice as the starting quarterback, or the “first championship run for your high school team”, how you define yourself in that moment is most important.  For high school athletes around the nation, there is no greater feeling than receiving that first scholarship offer from a college or university; taking your grind to the next level.  That feeling of completeness, became a reality this week for Braedon Nutter and Brett Nezat; two grinders on the Play Book network.  Ready to tell the world of this “significant first”, Nutter and Nezat took aim at social media sharing their news with the @PlayBookAthlete twitter family.

2020 Braedon Nutter from Tomball, Texas  tweeted the exciting news earlier this week highlighting his opportunity to play for the Buffalo’s at the University Of Colorado.  Nutter said he was overcome with excitement and extremely grateful to receive his very first offer. Keep your eyes on this talented athlete this season, he’s coming to compete.

One of the hardest working athletes in the locker room, 2020 Brett Nezat is a talented Quarterback from Saraland LA that has put in the work on and off the field.  Tweeting his very first football scholarship offer from the University of Idaho, Nezat said this offer meant everything to him, confirming that hard work does pay off.
