He is 5’2″, weighs 150 pounds and has a 40-yard-dash speed of 4.49. Meet 17-year-old Running Back Orégan Abhamon from South East France. Orégan loves the game of football and desires to play at the next level. But how hard will he have to work to make that happen?

American Football, along with baseball, hockey and basketball, are all passions in North America.
However, it’s been hard for American football to stand out from its ancestor, “soccer” in France. Still Orégan continues to train and work at the game he loves to play. “I’ve Been playing football for 6 years,” he says. “It’s hard to get footage because football in France isn’t popular so we don’t have a lot teams and games.”
Orégan is determined to keep striving and won’t let the lack of organized game time stand in the way of his dream. He drives 2 hours twice a week for football training.

Football for Orégan is not just a sport, it’s a passion and a lifestyle. He says he’s very motivated to go to college in USA to continue his education and possibly play football. Currently he attends  Jean Monnet University in Saint-Étienne, France. He speaks French, English, Spanish and a little bit of Portugais and Italian. His desire is to work in International Marketing.
