Jalen Kimber: Young and Gifted

Rewind Jalen Kimber

It’s evident that the class of 2020 has some awesome talent and DB Jalen Kimber is one gifted athlete that’s at the top of the list. When he was only a seventh grader, he was the only athlete from Indiana chosen for the seventh-grade team of the Football University-Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl that was held in San Antonio, Texas. Since then he has continued to make strides and impress onlookers with his quick feet.

This summer he has displayed his talents at satellite camps like the USC Rising Stars Prospect Camp, Illinois, Tennessee and TCU Alabama where he tested a 4.7 40, a 4.3 in the 5-10-5 agility shuttle and had a whopping 36″ vertical. Great numbers for this upcoming freshman. Jalen also caught eyes at the Sound Mind Sound Body  camp in Houston where he was selected Best of the Best as a rising 9th grader. This past April, he was named most outstanding player from the NextGen Camp in Dallas and selected to the Top 100.

Jalen has been described as being both “fundamentally and technically sound and not afraid to get up high to get it” as seen in his film and pictures. His skills on the turf surpass any expectations you would have for such a young athlete and we’re certain coaches already have this young athlete on their radar. Please continue to follow Jalen’s grind here with Play Book Athlete.
