They say everything grows big in Texas, but this phenomenal athlete is now a member of the Peach State. His nickname is however, “Big Texas” given to him by his coach when he first moved to Georgia. No matter what platform he’s on, he gives it his all. D’Aren plays football, baseball, basketball and is a track and field participant. He stands 6’2″ and is 345 lbs. and is EXPLOSIVE. Did I mention he’s only an eighth grader? D’Aren’s motto is “I might be big but can do anything I put my mind to”. He’s grinding hard everyday…there’s no limit to what he will accomplish.
Track and Field: D’Aren recently placed 1st place in the shot put event where he managed a 40’2″ throw. He also took home the 1st place medal in the discus event and topped the day off with a throw of 96.5.
Football: D’Aren was named the 8th grade MVP at the FSG camp in Macon, Georgia last month.
