Will hit Anything in His Way

Rising senior Tony Craig is ready to hit the road and showcase his talent. The 5’10 355 defensive tackle out of Columbia High School in Huntsville, Al will cross the boarder into Georgia for the the Minority Coaches Association of Georgia camp next week. He’ll head back to his home state for the Nick Saban O-line/D-line camp June 18, and will then participate in Auburn’s O-line/d-line camp in July.

For Craig, playing defensive tackle is just another day in the office.
“I like playing defensive tackle because I like to hit anything that’s in my way,” said Craig.

And the coaches at the University of Alabama, who saw Craig at their camp last year, loved watching the big fellow in action.
“They loved seeing me on defense. That motivates me to make others hyped about the game,” said Craig. “I was open minded about the opportunity they gave me and I’m grateful to play defense.”

Craig also has a great work ethic off the field, being named an A/B honor roll student and was also awarded for his contributions to the Future Business Leaders of America.

Craig has received interest from Alabama A&M, Arkansas State and several colleges in Mississippi including Jacksonville State University.
Craig will attend a plethora of camp trips which include Alcorn State, Alabama State, Jackson State, Mississippi Valley State, the University of Alabama-Birmingham and the University of West Alabama.
