Lights! Camera! Action! This is a traditional cue given to members of film crew at the beginning of a take. When we hear those words we know a show is about to start. This is what happens when 2017 Robert (Rob) Sease, hits the field. In the place where he wants to be…he says he always gives the audience a show.
On the field Rob can be very rambunctious. But surprisingly off of the field, he says he’s very “quiet” and “chill”. His peers call him Showtime and in his first five games the 5’11” 225 pounds linebacker laid down a whopping 66 tackles. That’s an average of 13 tackles per game.
Rob transferred from Newton High School to Walnut Grove right after his junior year but his transition was smooth and he never missed a beat. “The transfer didn’t affect me in any way as far as my career,” he says. “What God has for me can’t be changed. It’s destined!” And so far this year Rob has been outstanding at his job on the field.
So what’s next for Rob at the end of the season? He says he’ll be putting in extra work with his trainer and his training mates at Elite Talent Football Academy. He’s also looking to seal a spot in a classroom and on the field at either, UAB, The Citadel or Navy.
