Watch out for The Mail Man, because this man is on a mission. The 2017 QB from Pierce County High recently earned the top quarterback award at MVP Camp in Valdosta and he’s not finished. This signal caller has been grinding and showing out at different camps.
The 6’0 170 pound 2017 prospect has been to several Elite 11 camps this spring and plans to go to some satellite camps and one day camps this summer. Stetson is going bigtime, looking to showcase his talent at camps this summer at Wake Forest, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and a few other schools.
Georgia Southern, Mercer, Columbia, Middle Tennessee State, Wofford, and Charleston Southern have all offered Stetson a scholarship and the chance to take snaps for them. South Carolina, Washington State, and Southern Cal have sent him mail recently.
A couple of schools have sent “The Mailman” some great edits via twitter:
If that’s not enough, Harvard and Yale recently made their way to Blackshear GA to visit Bennett. Of course if those two schools are taking the time out of their schedule to come to southeast Georgia, then you know his academics are in order.
Stetson Bennett IV puts new meaning to the term student athlete, as heearned a score of 29 on his ACT and a score of 1800 on his SAT. As impressive as those scores are, he also puts up scores on the field. The field general threw for 265 yards per game his junior year by completing 222 passes on 351 attempts. That was good enough for 2924 yards passing and 23 touchdowns in 11 games.
