Kenyatta Watson is a former Grayson High coach that had an interesting interview with Fox5 about all of the players transferring to play football for the Rams. Watson’s son, 2019 CB Kenyatta Watson II, is going into his sophomore season with the Rams.
How did it come to pass that all of these guys (at least 8 players) ended up transferring in to play for Grayson? Was it because they have a top tier program with a national schedule with these players wanting to play for the best and against the best? Was it due to the idea that they’ll get more exposure to college football coaches? Were they friends that played recreation football together and wanted to do it one last time before going off to their perspective colleges?
