College road trip tours are becoming a popular way for high school football athletes to participate in camps at various places in just a few days. For Julian Bolt of Manchester High School in Douglasville, Georgia it will be a once in a lifetime experience, as he sets foot on the campus of several power5 schools. The 6’1, 190 pound receiver/safety will hit the road with Elite Talent, with whom he trains.
“We will be going to Louisville, Michigan, Ohio State and Kentucky,” said Bolt. “I’m looking forward to going to Ohio State because I’ve been watching their football program for a long time and I like them a lot.”
Bolt will also compete in 7-on-7 tournaments with his high school and Elite Training.
“Going to camps and tournaments [means] more exposure for myself and letting the coaches get a good feel as to what I can do,” said Bolt. “I enjoy playing both positions when I go but I [really] I like showing off my ability at safety because I’m new at the position.”
Bolt will also attend the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp in Atlanta next week and another SMSB camp in Detroit. His unofficial visits include Georgia State, Maryland, South Carolina and USF. He will also attend Clemson’s Junior Day.
