It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog
Wherever Jamyest Williams is in a football setting, the attention is usually on him. Normally to start of with it’s because he’s a 5’9 defensive back. You don’t see a ton of successful 5’9 DB’s, especially in this day and age of multiple 6’4-6’5 receivers on a team.
The attention of him only being 5’9 quickly turns to the playmaker dominating on the field. He’s done it camp after camp after camp, and looks to continue his dominance this weekend at The Opening in Oregon. This isn’t a new scene for Jamyest, as he was one of the few rising juniors to get invited to The Opening Finals last year………..and in true Jamyest Williams fashion, he was one of the standouts then.
Although the 7on7 competition is really just getting started, Williams has already made the news. We’re not talking just news for grinding at The Opening, this Play Book Athlete MADE THE HOME PAGE OF CNN with an article done on him by Bleacher Report.
Continue to check back with Play Book Athlete for coverage from The Opening on Jamyest, Owen Pappoe, and Deangelo Gibbs.
