August 19, 2016 the Fairfield Warde High School Mustangs’ locker room was filled with cleats, workout gear and anxious teenage football players eagerly awaiting the upcoming season. The 9 AM practice includes returning players and incoming freshmen. Among those players is 6’1″ AristotleProskinitopoulos.
Aristotle has dedicated himself to the game of football and knows what it takes for both him and his team to be successful. According to his coaches he is a leader and is always first to meetings, practice, games, lifting and conditioning. “Aristotle Proskinitopoulos has made himself into a tough, smart and aggressive football player.” says Head Coach Duncan DellaVolpe. “The best part for me as a coach is that I can depend on Ari to get any job done especially in practice and game day.
The 200 pound Middle Linebacker has the same get-it-done attitude in the classroom that he has on the turf. He’s played multiple positions including guard and inside linebacker. “I am all about my team, and want nothing but the best for my team,” says Aristotle. “I am willing to play different positions and do other things that may be out of the ordinary as long as it helps the team.”
Aristotle’s goal is to play division one football, while getting a quality education. He has prepared early to ensure his future is rock solid.
