When you think of Iowa the first vision that comes to mind is the American heartland, miles of corn fields but for 2017 Carter Thill it’s the game of football and competing on the next level.

Waterloo East High School football fans are excited to have their captain 2017 Carter Thill leading the team again this season. He returns this season with a renewed conviction and a deeper passion for leaving it all on the field his senior season. This talented athlete will be playing both sides of the ball again in his last year of high school football. Thill is a leader on the field. displaying a very high football IQ and is extremely knowledgeable of the game. Being just as committed in the classroom as on the field, Thill is already NCAA qualified and colleges are starting to inquire about this gifted student / athlete.
All eyes will clearly be on Carter Thill, cheering him and his teammates on this 2016 football season. We’re wishing him the best in his final season at Waterloo East High School. Without a doubt we’ll be seeing more of Thill, as he positions himself to play on Saturday afternoon.
