collin lFrom Whitefield to Woodward, it doesn’t matter which side of the city the turf is on, 2019 Punisher Collin Richardson will dominate. Yes you heard correctly, the 6’0″ 245 lb. Defensive End has been added to the War Eagles’ roster for the Fall of 2016. It should prove to be a smooth transition for the sophomore and his goals for the up coming season are clear.

My goals this year are to help contribute to my team and help to win the state championship and also progress myself and challenge my teammates constantly to put the team in a better position next year,” says Collin. He has been working with his new team both on the field and in the weight room most of the summer to build that Collinchemistry with them that they’ll need to make it all the way.

Collin will definitely be ready for this new adventure, he’s been working hard this off-season. He attended the Adidas Showcase in February and was named in the top 5 for D-Line. He later attended the Nike Sparq Combine and the Total Athlete Big Man Take Over where he once again won the Top 5 Defensive Line award. Other skill and exposure camps include an invite to the VTO Elite 100 and Sound Mind Sound Body Atlanta. In addition to the satellite exposure camps, Collin received some invites and made sure he hit some college campuses as well. Among those were The Phil Estes Football Camp at Brown University, Savannah State Prospect Camp, LaGrange College Jr. Day, Auburn University OL/DL Camp and Georgia Southern Prospect Camp.

Collin’s dream is to play football at the collegiate level. With his ability, work ethic, desire and passion, there is no doubt his dream will come true. Please continue to follow Collin’s success here with Play Book Athlete.
