Williamson Grinding and Gaining interest from D1 Programs
Carrollton High School product Cole Williamson will have a summer to remember. His camp schedule is headlined by the ever-so-popular Adidas Camp this week, whilehe attended Football University just last week.
The big offensive lineman has received interest from N.C. State and Oregon.
“I didn’t know they could find me all the way out in Carrollton,” said Williamson in regards to the Ducks.
Williamson, who is 6’5, 325 pounds, plays left tackle and left guard and takes great pride in playing the position.
“My favorite drill to do at camps is the OL/DL pass rush drill. It’s a great way to show off my skills, compete and get better.”
He will also attend the Elite Prospect Camp and will visit N.C. State and Tennessee.
“It’s going to be really exciting. I’m looking forward to showcasing my talent,” said Williamson. “I really liked the Tennessee spring game and I like it up there. They have good facilities and I like Clemson as well.”
The impressive offensive lineman will also join his Trojan teammates at various camps throughout the state.
“I’m going to the University of West Georgia camp and schools from all over Georgia will be there and we are going to an offensive lineman camp in cochran,” said Williamson. “I really enjoy going with my team. We get a chance to bond a lot.”
