“Jackson takes the snap…the pass…It’s complete…TOUCHDOWN!”
He can throw the ball an average of 65 yards and does it very well. It’s one of the reasons he’s in the number one spot for the Maxpreps Passing Leaders in the state of Alabama. After eight games JaCure Jackson has a total of 2,271 passing yards with 28 touchdowns. That’s an average of 283 yards per game. His longest pass play came in at 89 yards against Carver in September.
Most athletes with stats like this have been playing the position since the beginning. However, for JaCure’ it started about 4 years ago. “I played multiple positions in middle school and when I was in the 9th my father put me as a QB,” he stated. He started out as a Tight End but hasn’t looked back since. It was a great decision by JaCure’s father, he saw the potential.
Although there are no solid offers yet on the table, JaCure plans to continue to work and train hard in order to play at the next level. As far as his career choice when he finishes college…well gather up your sick animals. This strong arm has hopes of becoming a veterinarian.
