There will be no focus on spring sports for 2018 FB/ILB Tyler Zirpoli of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Instead, he’ll put all of his energy into his football skills. “This year I am playing no spring sports…I will be able to work towards more of my goals in football.” With strength being an important aspect of Tyler’s position, he makes sure he stays in shape by working with extraordinary trainers at NX Level there in Waukesha. But he says it’s more than just speed and strength at NX Level. “It’s a lot different than any other place I’ve been to workout,” he says. “We work a lot of hip core and lower back work and that highly helps us when we get onto the field.”
Tyler and his Waukesha West Wolverines had an exciting season, plowing their way to the WIAAWI quarter-finals and finishing with a region record of 5-2 in the Classic Eight conference. With his senior season just around the corner, Tyler is excited and ready to help his team make a mark in history. “I can’t wait to get out with my boys for my final season,” he says. “Our team has never worked harder in the four years I’ve been at West this off-season and it’s only going to increase from here.”
Although no definite camps have been confirmed on Tyler’s schedule, he has been in contact with several college coaches in reference to their up coming Junior days. Keep following the Play Book to find out more about super athlete Tyler Zirpoli.
