Taking down as many of the opposition as it takes to complete the play, Matthew Groeschel takes on the responsibility of protecting Greenwood High School all the way down the line, week after week in Midland, Texas. Matthew has proven himself in strength and power, as well as speed, advancing over the defenders immediately, opening the field for his offensive players to take over the field in the blink of an eye.
There is no need for the quarterback, receivers or running backs to feel any sort of concern whatsoever with Matthew on the line. Quick enough to take down the man in front and then make the next one to his right is covered from reaching any of the other offensive players. It is incredible to see the level of talent and skill from Matthew, especially still in his junior year at Greenwood. With time yet to come there is still more we will be able to see from Matthew, and an incredible level of ability that those 2018 recruiters will be looking forward to seeing next year.
