Jalen Roach’s motto is to “Grind until it hurts… then grind harder.” And grinding hard is just what this young athlete is doing. When you log on to Jalen’s twitter page his bio section has five goals: 1. Graduate High School 2. Football Schlorship 3. Win a Super Bowl ring 4. Graduate College 5. Become a Hall of Famer. Some may say this is a pretty tall order and not realistically attainable. But what if greats like Troy Aikman, Tony Dorsett, Deion Sanders, Warren Sapp, Emmitt Smith and others in our Football Hall of Fame didn’t strive for those same goals?
This WR/CB from Grayson High School is on the right track and his summer grind is proof of it. Jalen has attended camps such as Georgia Tech, SMSB (Top 10 WR), UWG Camp, New Era Camp and the Central Gwinnett Elite Camp (Top 5 WR). Also earlier this summer, Jalen attended the Eric Berry Legends Camp and pulled up a MVP award. Take a look at some footage below to see why he was awarded the honor. Please continue to follow Jalen’s grind here with Play Book Athlete.
