They may call him “Easy E” but one thing about Ethan Rogers is that no matter what obstacle is thrown his way he says he won’t go down easy and he’ll never give up. He has goals farther than the human eye can see.
We started following Ethan’s athletic journey in the fall of 2016. Weighing in at 215 pounds, the freshman is nothing short of a powerhouse. While scrolling down Ethan’s twitter timeline a post caught my attention. He said, “The weight room is one thing that’s always a part of getting better in any season!” Weightlifting is important to Ethan because he’s more of a power on the gridiron. So he’s taking the advice of his coaches and focusing on upper and lower body power to become more durable, dependable and be less prone to injury. “I spend a total of 3 hours throughout my day in the weight-room,” he says. “I have an hour weight training in the morning as a class, I have weight training for an hour directly after team speed & agility training after school, and I spend another our in the local gym with my Dad after homework.”
Having already attended the NX Level Chasing Greatness Camp, Ethan has also managed to secure an invite to The Show sponsored by NextGen. Coaches, you’ll want to keep an eye out for this athlete. Check out Ethan’s camp schedule below.
