2019 DT TREY GORY
At 6’0, 255 pounds, and snatching 235 pounds on the bench press with ease, 2019 Trey Gory from Alabama is a concern for any coordinator responsible for the offensive agenda. Coming off the line with attacking quarterbacks with a passion that was born out of the desire for greatness, Trey is known for introducing ball carriers to the earth using his pads. He’s looking forward to getting back on the field this season with his teammates and learning more about the game he loves from Head Coach Yeager. There has been no off season for this talented athlete as Gory is just as competitive on the wrestling mat. Coach Ranson, Head Wrestling Coach credits Gory for contributing to a successful season.
Carrying his high caliber on-field work ethic into his academics, Trey methodically maintains a high GPA impressing both his coaches and teammates. As Trey continues to turn heads and raise eyebrows under the Friday Night Lights this season, it won’t be long before Gory will be lighting up the stage for a major division-1 program on the next level.
Trey knows that nothing comes without hard work and surrendering to the grind. Before Friday Night Lights there comes training and believe me, Trey is no stranger to putting in the work. Trey’s goal is to play football on the next level and he knows it starts with being physically ready. Trey credits his personal trainer, Chris Scarbough for preparing him for this up coming season.
