It was a good season for South Forsyth High School ‘s Jamal Camp. The 6’2″ sophomore athlete started five games, played both sides of the ball as both an offensive and defensive tackle and helped lead his team into the playoffs. Although the season is over, Jamal’s training is not. He’s been training really hard and currently has a weight of 260 pounds with 15% body fat.
With camp and combine season coming into full swing this spring Jamal is excited. He has already attended the VTO Sports Combine where he ran a 5.1 laser timed 40-yard-dash and a 4.7 in the shuttle. “I slipped, so the time could have been much better,” he admits. Jamal also posted a 27.5 inch vertical, which he says will also get better. Jamal attended also shined at the Adidas Elite Classic combine in Buford, Georgia hosted by Derrick Tatum of the Elite Talent Football.
