Cameron Coleman is Preparing for the Next Level

His goal is to receive an athletic scholarship and play football at the college level and 2018 Cameron Coleman is working hard to make that dream a reality. Cameron spent his holiday break just relaxing with family and friends but says he is definitely ready for get back into uniform so that he can “hit someone”.

With his primary focus on football, in the off-season Cameron is hitting the weights as often as possible in order to get bigger and stronger in preparation to play at the next level. “… I’m not going to go to any big camps,” he says. “I’m just going to drive around to the schools that I have talked to or school that I like for day camps.”

He’ll be a senior next year and says he’s going to push himself next season to reach all of his goals and to be able to help his team in every possible way to go as far as they can go. The Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones had a great season finishing in the #1 spot in their region with an 11-2 record. Cameron posted 94 tackles of which 23 were solo. He also had 9 sacks and 15 tackles for loss. Schools like Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, East Tennessee State University and Eastern Kentucky University are definitely taking notice.
