2017 Tommy Trumbo Wears The Red White And Blue With Pride

2017 WR Tommy Trumbo

The game of football is played all over the nation and most athletes enjoy what it brings. But for Tommy Trumbo, today is an especially great day to play the game. He gets to represent his team and country by wearing the red white and blue jersey.  The game is called “THE SERVICE BOWL”,   a day to honor our veterans, police officers and fireman, our nations true unsung HERO’S. In Idaho the The Service Bowl is the talk of the town. It’s a day where families all come out to fill he stands and support not only their local team but the one’s who protect and service our nation.

This would be Trumbo’s last Service Bowl, hitting the football field representing jersey #12 previously worn by his best friend who passed in July. “My number means so more to me than you could every imagine and it makes me play so much harder every single down.”  Trumbo’s greatest joy comes just before the start of each home game when he looks in the stands and seeing his faithful number one fans, grandparents Delbert and Yolanda Finley cheering him on. We’re wishing the best for this extraordinary talented athlete this season. Continue to follow Tommy Trumbo on The Play Book Network.
